Aug. 23rd, 2007 01:08 pmAs Spirit Bear shambles towards an ending, I'm sure there are other books out there that demand my attention. So, I will take suggestions. A few criteria, I am not going to do a chapter by chapter analysis of the Wheel of Time books or the Sword of Truth. That would take forever and a half and I'd probably kill myself. I may do a series over view, however, of those two.
So, give me suggestions and comment as to why you think I should go through this book. Examples are always welcomed.
After that I'll put up a poll.
Sound good?

I haven't heard of House of Leaves, what's it like?

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!
I finally get asked the impossible question!
Umm...it's a mindfuck.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Leaves
Basically, it's about ... hm.
It's 3 stories in one.
Johnny Truant is told by his friend that there's a new room open in his apartment building, so Johnny checks it out. The room belonged to Zampano, and old blind man. Johnny finds Zampano's life's work, an academic study of something called "The Navidson Record" which is an autobiographical film about the non-physics obeying house in which the Navidson's live.
However, in Johnny's world (Like ours), the Navidson Record never existed.
TADA!
