Jul. 5th, 2011 02:43 pmI started writing book two in the great forms trilogy. I don't have a title for it yet. Just as I wrote that the title "Griffin's Lands" suggested itself. This is because the main plot of the book is the retaking of the Griffin's kingdom. Well, his/her descendents. The Griffin isn't around any more, though his/her people still consider themselves belonging to the Griffin. I say his/hers because the Griffin could be either gender depending on who holds the jewel. Or who used to hold the jewel. It's gone now. But I digress.
Book titles
1. Fettered Phoenix
2. Griffin's Lands
3. ???
It's kind of odd writing book two because I keep on having to remind myself that someone might pick it up without having read book one. Out of necessity it starts a few hours after book one ends. This requires reintroducing everyone and putting in what happened in book one in some way that isn't... info-dumpy.
I suppose I could do a "previously on..." introduction, but that doesn't feel right.
Crafting! I'll have to do it.
