Wiki... wiki... wiki...

So I have my own Wiki now!

And what, you may ask, could I do with a Wiki? Well it's an experiment in the nature of hypertext. I got this idea a long time ago in one of my classes. The idea of being able to read a text and see older versions or drafts, what the author was thinking when they did certain scenes, quick links to character biographies, links to authors and what they were thinking when they created a certain character or what happened to a character that was unexpected. It's the ability to put those damn irritating In Author Text Notes without it ruining the flow of the story. :D

At first I was going to just do my stuff, but I realized that, well a Wiki is meant to be shared. You can find the wiki http://www.alternates.elwiki.com But I'd appreciate it if you contacted me before adding anything to it. I'm still working out a lot of the bugs and trying to figure out What the Fuck I'm doing.

I'm in the Wiki? Huh... I find the concept of a Wiki to be interesting, and sometimes I'm vaguely tempted to get one of my own. What do you have to do to get one?

Yes, you're in the wiki. I find the conecpt to be fascinating. I applied for one at this site... which name I'm forgetting....which is bad.... but I think there's a link for it on my wiki.
