In an effort to distract myself, I have gone a bit icon crazy and created some autism related icons.

An explanation for the communism one. My mom and I have talked a lot about what the world would be like if autistic people were in charge. We've largely decided that it would be rather communistic. There wouldn't be any haves or have nots, because by and large autistic people are very logical and it's very illogical to not feed someone if they're hungry and things like that.

Yes, but if anyone autistic tried to get elected, we'd probably start hearing about how autism is a symptom of demonic possession or something from [Insert Opposition Here]. And then they'd try to make it illegal. And then we'd hold demonstrations against them. And then they'd send in the military. And then we'd all get shot and die. And then they'd brutally murder the children.

Of course they are. Because everything different is evil. To avoid pulling a Godwin, I'll just say how very Dalek that is.

But we could always pull the "it's not our fault that we're like this... if only our mother's loved us more as children and gave us hugs then we'd be normal. Are you going to hurt us poor folks who never were loved as a child?"
