So I'm sitting here at work and I'm like my thesis is going to be published soon and it'll be a novel and there will be fan fiction written about it because it'll be so popular. And then I was like zomigawd... fan fiction... I should write some my self. Then Alec reminded me that I couldn't write fan fiction for my own novel because it's like mine and anything I wrote would be sort of canon. So, I said, maybe I should ask people to write bad fan fiction for me, that way I'd know what I was getting into. Alec gave me a dark and evil look.

Anyone want to write me fan fiction? I'll send you my Thesis draft for you to not read (because since when to bad fan fic writers ever read the source material) and let you go at it.

If I ever get published, I plan to go online under an assumed name and write awful fanfic of it. Because I can.

I can write badfic for you really easily. All you have to do is fill in the blanks:

Alasiathewenetielesina was waling through a field one day when she buped in to [LUST OBJECT]. Hello she said. Hello said [LUST OBJECT] do you want to have sex. yes said Alasiathewenetielesina. Tehy had secs on the grass and then went home for tea and crumpets and more secx in an ACTUAL BED(!!1!). Teh edn.

... you make me sad. You make me sad because that seems to be the extent of how most fics are written.

Personally my Novel, I think, lends itself more to bad sex between men because the two main characters end up being lovers.

And I want to see a crossover done.

Yes, but that's a sure sign that every single 'fic will be (bad) het 'Sue/LO. Because Canon Is Bad, don'cha know.

... Point. The question is, who will they lust over and why?

Alec: the sword wielding savage who's 'tamed' or Lorac: the poor mentor who is given Alec to train.

Mm... maybe they'll take Alec and save him from the tortures of the city life with another 'fey court champion'. Or with Lorac they'll save him from his mother and take him out somewhere where they can be together.

I'm making myself sad now.

I wouldn't mind a copy of this Thesis. It sound interesting and I've been trying to find it online, though, apparently, my Googling skills are not what they once were, as I cannot find it ANYWHERE.

It used to be on the original fiction version of Fanfiction dot net. (Trying to avoid the screening) but I don't know what happened to it.

In any case it needs to be rewritten. I completely decanonized it... sort of by accident in the sequel. That being said it can stand up on its own. I guess, by itself.

Oh it probably was fiction press and I typo'd.

I see it is still up. Heh.

And about the beta It was extensively beta'd by my thesis director, that is an earlier draft.

Ah, so, I've never had a thesis director (I'm still in high school), so, I obviously have no right to order you around like that.
