Ferguson is back.

See, I was feeling lonely without him, so I thought about getting another fish. Two fish this time. My mom, wanting to make sure that all was well with him before I came back to the store. Make sure he wasn't dead or anything. While at the store she discovered that Fergi wasn't doing so well. Laying listlessly on the bottom of his new tank and half on his side. Not wanting him to die friendless and alone, she got him back.

I come home and spend the next two hours giving his tank a good scrubbing and put him back. And when we put the plastic bag into the tank, he starts getting all excited, like he recognized the place. That he knew he was back home.

Clearly, he is the fish that came back the very next day.

Fergi is an awesome fish. He's now utterly happy swishing around in his tank, doesn't look at all sick. He probably doesn't even appreciate the hard work we went through to give the tank a good scrubbing in the amount of time he could be in the plastic bag.

My guess is he knew we would be coming back and decided to do a woobie to make sure we took him back.
