Not having a MySpace account. (Horrors!) I'm going to put my reply here.
GOD has shown me my calling...this is what it is
God has called me to be a teacher.....but not just any teacher....a special kind of teacher....a teacher who teaches young children with autism. Autism is like Darfur, nobody knows about it!!! Which is a bad thing! 1 of 150 births; every 20 minutes a child is lost to autism.....THERE IS NO CURE....Personally I hope that my children are the ones with autism and this is the reason: 1) that way you dont have as high chances of having an autistic child and 2) beacuse if im specialized in educating children with autism...then im the perfect father for them.Hi.
You're an ignoramus.
Dafur is a genocide. Autism is a neurological "disorder". Autism doesn't kill people. Also, people know about both as they're both "in things" now. Which really isn't a good thing, but what can you do. Personally, I'm sure a lot of autistic people would love to be out of the spot light, so this isn't necessarily a bad thing. Now, you say that every twenty minutes a child is lost to autism. How exactly is someone "Lost" to autism? Lost indicates that they're missing and can't be found. Are you referring to the fact perhaps every twenty minutes a child is diagnosed with autism? A strange statistic if I ever heard one. Once a person is diagnosed doesn't meant that they become someone else. You don't "lose" someone with autism any more than you lose someone to blindness. You remind me of this letter to the editor I saw in a Time Magazine once where the person talked about how Autism was like a thief in the night that stole the parent's child away. Those type of parents are in denial and don't understand that there never was a "normal" child to begin with. Instead they keep on trying to look for that normal child that never existed often times causing more harm than good.
No. There isn't a cure. It's like trying to cure blue eyes. You can't really cure them. Are you saying that everyone should be brown eyed? Or green eyed? I like green eyes. There's nothing wrong with blue eyes, they're just a different color. (And I shan't go into my personal theory that autistic people are a separate species). So, not there isn't a cure.
It's I'm, not im. If you can't get that right, how do you expect to be a teacher? And please. You're not making anyone feel any better about being a parent. Most of the worst parents I know of autistic children are the ones that work in the field because they end up turning their kids into experiments. Believe me, I've seen it.
God calls in mysterious and wierd ways. My calling was through comedy central. a couple years ago, they had a special comedy telethon where multiple big name comics gave stand up to help raise money for finding the cure to autism, and it was hosted by John Stewart. During that special, they had multiple videos, and they all captured my heart....i remember wiping my eyes as a river began to flow.
Um... yay?
I had another love then: Rocks and Minerals; geology. I could not decide which one to do...and i have been in favor of both at various times.....but i have been moved tonight....as i browsed through myspace layouts finding an autism awareness one which is what is on my profile.......and it decided it for me....God called me to show love and care to children who had no choice to be autistic and who don't understand some things that we understand.
And you have no choice in being Normal, but you don't see me trying to cure you, do you? Personally, I think I'm better off. Also, there are things that you don't understand that I do. Like the Big Picture. Do you have any idea how much better the world would be if people would stop being so self centered and actually thing a few years in advance in regards to their actions? Or even looking at things from all the different possibilities? The world isn't black or white, us vs them, you know. But I forget, you're normal and don't understand it. Personally you're sounding like you're doing this so that you can get good strokes. So that people will say to you how wonderful you are.
I will be writing a petition up for Governor Arnold (cant spell his last name....lol) and i will have it available for you to sign if you wish to support autism awareness as well as support the education of the autistic. Because there are NO COLLEGES in California that offer this major....and my parents said that they wud NOT pay for my college if i went out of state.
Go to youtube and type in autism and watch a video that will captivate your soul!
It's not that hard to look up the good Govenator's last name. Type in "California Governor"
in google and I'm sure you figure it out. Support the education of the autistic? Are we educating autistic people now? Is that what you mean... oh. I see, you mean major especially dealing with autism. I'm sure there is something somewhere, or you could just make one up. The do allow you to specialize majors. Of course you appear to be too stupid to even look up the Governor's last name, how do I expect you to do some research on college majors. Also what is 'wud'?
No love.
Kippur.
