Have just destroyed my kitchen trying to make lemon merengine pie. For some reason being able to coherently make this pie escapes me. Can't make the Merengine fluffy. Have been whisking it for past half hour. Will not pile up. Tastes good though.

Accidently poured lemon part into crust too soon. Now very liquidy. Stove v. messy.

Will hope it all comes out in the oven. Or else will have to clean oven as well. :(

Still beating merengine. Arm hurts.

Have decided to rename pie Lemon disaster pie.

Have put in oven. Oven V.messy now. Will have to clean it. Hopefully won't catch on fire. Have baking soda ready just in case.

So, how'd it turn out, any good?
If you don't want it, send it up here. I'm sure I can find a good use for it. *grin* Though, your description sounds like me making cinnamon rolls:
Okay, roll out dough... brush on melted butter.... wait, where's the melted butter? Aiiee, the dough's rising! Melt the butter, melt the butter! Okay, butter on dough... *frown* Isn't there supposed to be cinnamon in this brown sugar?

*sighs* Turned into half baked goo. Had to throw it out. *pouts*

Am now avoiding cleaning my kitchen (which is a sticky lemony wreck)

Perhaps I should try the cinimon rolls and you the pie.

Hmmm. And I was counting on you to teach me to make pickle-chiffon ---- oops! I mean key-lime pie.

Well I figured out what I did wrong. And I should be able to pull off pie if I were to try it again. So there's still hope for your pie.
