No Eldest tonight. Too busy packing to actually sit through the junk and go through it properly. I'm not going to be on for the next couple of days. Going to that conference in Stockton, like I mentioned earlier. No internet access for me. And even if I did have it, I'm not going to lug Eldest around with me. I have a better book to take up space.

I suggest using this time to recoup your braincells as we go into the final leg of Eldest where it can't get any better, so it must get worse.

We've got a dramatic final battle, a big revelation and the return of Murtagh!

In somewhat related news, I've decided that after Eldest I'm going to actually do a good book. After all, why should I ruin my life going over bad books? I'm going to do Q-Squared, by Peter David. I think it'll be an interesting comparison, looking back at Eldest and Eragon, because Peter David writes fan fiction for a living. At least that's what his Star Trek books always feel like. And they're good fan fiction. Unlike Paolini, whose books feel like bad fan fiction.
