I'm moving rather along on my production of stuff. Being productive and things.

I've started re-reading Ivanhoe by Walter C. Scott. It's actually very good and I'm having trouble putting it down. It takes a bit to get through the flowery language, both spoken and descriptive, but the plot is damn right interesting -if cliched - but he manages to spin the tale in such a way that you don't notice the clicheness, which is the mark of a good story teller. The characters are so interesting that you want to see what happens to them. More on this later. I promise.

Also, it's about a month away from my 30th birthday. Oh my I'm old! =D

Anyway I decided to make my birthday ~~gimmie stuff~~ wish list.

1. D&D Dice
2. Miniatures (Star Wars or D&D)
3. LEGOs! Star Wars
4. Rubber Duckies (the ones in my bathroom demand cohorts so that they can continue on their quest to take over the bathroom and then my apartment)
5. Assorted fuzzy animals or critters
6. Tarot cards
7. Your immortal Soul.
8. Books to cleanse my pallet and restore my IQ.

My birthday is coming up. August 16. So, less than a month away. I've seen some people post up things that they want for their birthday on their LJs and I've decided to give it a shot. I don't expect anyone to actually do it, but I thought it'd be fun to do it anyway.

Non-Internety things

1. Dice for D&D (Because you can't ever have too many dice)
2. Books. (Surprise me! Just... don't give me Spirit Bear or I'll have to hunt you down and kill you, and you don't want that, because that'll be messy and just unfortunate.)

Internety things

1. More Icon Space!
2. Fan Fiction! I like AUs and Crossovers.
3. For my own personal amusement though I doubt anyone will do it, an Alec fan fic. =D It can be horrible out of character and totally Sueish too.
4. Alec artwork ( I really like seeing what other people do with my characters. It's very interesting to me.)
5. Artwork in general. (I'd print it out and put it in my apartment.)
