Apparently there's this new 'game' sort of thing that teenagers are doing. There was an article about it in the paper. Basically these kids are sufficating themselves. Asphixating themselves. And some of them are dying. Because well, they've basically strangled themselves. I'm like... my G-d how stupid do you have to be to do something like that? I'm going to put a rope around my neck and choke myself. Sure I'll get a high, but you know, I may also die. Or maybe that last part is there. It's just, oh a neat way to get a high with out drugs.

My faith in humainty is slipping.

When I was in between 7th and 8th grade I spent two weeks at a summer camp. This was 1980. One of the girls told us about this totally cool thing that made you feel all dizzy. One person would hold someone's neck for a certain amount of time, then let go, and you are supposed to feel all swirly and giggly. I passed out. Cause you know, lack of oxygen=not a good thing.

So, not a new game by any stretch. Kids have been doing stupid things since the dawn of time. Though it sounds like they've taken it a step further.
