Aug. 11th, 2005 01:32 pmOkay, so at work when it's someone's birthday for the non-temp staff they have a surprise sort of thing, with cake and candles and a card. It's a really nice thing. Now I've never gotten this before, but then again I've always been temp staff. Now I'm non-temp. My birthday's next week. And I'm sitting around wondering if they're going to get me a cake and a card. Since it's supposed to be a surprise, I can't ask about it. Besides, if I ask about it that sounds sort of selfish and rude, doesn't it?
So I'm sitting here, wondering...well are they going to do it? And if they don't do it, what does it mean? And how do I know if they're going to do it or not and I'd really like it if they did because it'd be really neat and everything, but I don't know if they are or not. And if they don't does that mean they don't really like me or something?
And I really don't know what to do. It's driving me buggy.
Do non autistic people go through this?
