From the Nice People on the Internet:
Firebird by Mercecdes Lackey. A really good book! I enjoyed it a lot. I really do like Lackey in general and this was slightly different than her usual books. It had a lot of her usual tropes but her ending and climax actually felt like a climax and she actually managed to get me worried about the happily ever after for once!
Box of D&D Minis: While most of the figures in it was a duplicate there was BLUE DRAGON mini in there. And that was insanely rare, for once and two it was a dragon and I, of course, love dragons! It was just the luck of it all must be amazing but, it was just AWESOME surprise of awesomeness on top of the awesomeness of the box of miniatures.
The Science of the Discworld: I'm assuming this one is stuck in L-Space somewhere. But I can't wait to read it whenever it gets here. I enjoyed the last two books in the series and would love to read the first one and see how it all started. I find it amusing that I'm reading the series backwards.
From my family.
A LEGO set I already had from my brother. Which was okay. We can return it. It was a small cheap set. And then from my brother I got a corning ware serving dish set. THEY'RE REAL ADULT DISHES. I don't know why this makes me happy, but it does. ^_^
From my mom and dad: A set of 48 prismacolor markers in two zip carrying cases. That was an autistic nightmare. See, when I opened them up they weren't in shade order nor were they in numerical order. Not only that but the shade and numbers don't match-up. Number 128 came before number 9 etc. Yeah AND then I have the really odd quandary of "do I want to organize each case separately or organize them all together?" Eventually I did one case in cools and one case in warms. They're shiny and pretty this way. *snugs them*
There was a watercolor set with an easel, watercolors, painting board, brushes and some other stuff. My mom got it for the easel, but I really needed new colors and THERE THEY ARE. I just have to clean out my pallet now so the colors won't be muddy.
And finally what is probably supposed to be a bathroom for slinky underwear because it barely comes up to my thigh, but is going to be used as a throw on sweater thingy to wear while in bed so my top half doesn't get cold. It's warm and fluffy.
I also got some really nice cards from people. I wish I would be able to send cards out, but I'm really not that good at it. But thank you nice people who sent them to me. I have them hung up so the cat can't get to them and yet people can see them.
