Well that sucks.

kippurbirdSunday, my friend and new roommate came over to sign the lease, go over the rental agreememnt, pay the rent, and get the keys to the place. She brought her mother along. Her mother started playing lawyer, as my dad said, he had tennents who were laywers in the past who were less line by line on the rental agreement that her mother was.
The agreement was signed.
The rent was paid.
The keys and clicker were handed over.
My friend and her mother go over to the apartment.
About fifteen minutes later they come back. The mother has declared that her daughter is not moving into that place. She gives a bunch of excuses, but the bottom line is that she doesn't want her daughter to move out.
So. She doesn't. Her mother is holding the wedding over her.
And I'm out one roommmate.
Which means I can't move out. Which means I'm stuck at home, again, for who knows how long.
My life sucks. Utterly.
