At the site (http://dragcave.net/) eggs are dropped in certain locations at intervals. You catch the eggs by clicking on them before someone else does. They then go on your scroll (http://dragcave.net/user/kippur). To hatch you need to post the eggs in places so people will click on them and give them 'views'. When they get a certain amount, they'll hatch into babies and then they'll grow up into adults. If not they die and it is sad.
Different eggs are rarer than others. The rarer the dragon the more valuable it is. The egg on the left is a tinsel or prize dragon and is one of the rarest on the site.
Some dragons you can only get from the cave, others you can only get through breeding.
