Just a wee update

I am going to be doing something highly nerve wracking tonight. I am going to a singles event by myself.

WooOooooghoah

It takes place in a comic book store and is for geeky types which makes it somewhat better. Geekery I can do. But it will be filled with strange new people. Which is scary. Insanely anxiety producing.

And it doesn't help that my back and neck decided HEY LET'S GO ALL STIFF!!! :D :D Fffght. It's going to make the drive fun tonight.


In funner news, I just blasted by 90k in my Great Forms novel. This is currently heading to the longest thing I've ever written - and in the shortest period of time considering. The longest thing I've ever written was my Thesis which took about two years to get done fully and then another year to get edited.

I don't think I'll be picking up another book to go through until after Comic Con. With work deciding to be all up in the air I don't have the mental fortitude to do one. Hopefully by the end of July/Beginning of August it'll be all settled down and I can focus.

No, this isn't the one with the Fool. That one is a novella that clocks in around 36k. It is done and being looked over by my co-writer who beats me about my blatant over use of commas. This one is my Epic Low Level Fantasy which I've talked about a little bit. I've been very good and not made any RP accounts for any of the characters.

Next time we're both on AIM at the same time I'll natter about it at you, if you'd lilke.

Singles night with other nerds sounds slightly less nerve-wracking than singles night in a bar, where the people may or may not be nerds. At least you've already got some common interests established.

Also forgot to add, I grabbed the geode and it's really long-lined. Just a note in case that matters. (My original thought was to freeze it but it wouldn't let me offer you the pillow egg so I figured the geode would still be cool. Especially for a random test trade. If you don't want it, just don't accept and as soon as it lets me, I'll try trading the pillow or something else.) :)

I can try breeding my Dorkface with something - except my metalics because they're all spent.

No luck with the Dorkface, however the Pillow egg is from my own Fluffy Stuff lineage. Which I'm going to put out on the forums soon.

That's fine! Miss Dorkface can take as long as she wants to produce an egg. If you're going for metalics, I prefer the Silver over the Gold. My actual favorite would be the Shallow Waters, followed by Blunas, Waters, and Embers. But I'm relatively easy going and I love the White dragons. Actually, I like every dragon in principle. I just don't pick up some because whatever random details about the art make me nit-picky and I'm better off not picking nits on free dragons so I just ignore them altogether. But I still have a ton of dragon breeds so listing them all would be pointless. XD

Awww... *cuddles her Fluffy Stuff egg*

*examines the Thunder closer and laughs* It has two of my dragons in its lineage. Awesome. XD

Oh! That reminds me. If you ever get a spare Ice dragon, I would love one. I might as well try for a Guardian and I like the way the Ice looks (I just never managed to grab one before.) I was surprised you traded the Thunder, actually, but then I forgot the Geodes were rare. Which I should remember, considering how stubborn mine have been about breeding but... yah know. Forgetfulness.

Btw, if you didn't really want to give up the Thunder, I'm fine with trading it back. But I'll definitely keep it if you don't care. I'm sorry for not being this talkative last night but I had enough time to check the trade and that was it. ^_^;
