I like when that happens. It's so much nicer than the form rejection or the immediate query letter rejection. I've also gotten through the slush pile a bunch of times (well, but I'm going for literary agents), and have gotten a "full manuscript" request when the agent asked me to withdraw my book from other people who might be considering it because she wanted exclusive consideration, but haven't been accepted as a client yet, sadly.
