Gah.

So I'm trying to get spyware off my computer when it stops responding. Nothing unusual there (unfortunately)so I tell my computer to restart, by hitting the little restart button. What happens? The damn thing decides to completely restart. As in if it were basically starting Windows for the first time.

I have no idea what happened to my Thesis. We're reinstalling Windows now (i'm on my mom's computer). I'm fifty pages into the second draft. I have hard copy of about thirty eight pages. If it doesn't come back I am sooo screwed. Not to mention the fact that it would have completely deleted every single thing I've written in the past five years.

I sooo hope to G-d that my work is still there. Please oh please let my work still be there.

FIVE YEARS at last of work on this computer. I don't need it to be randomly earased.

Maybe hitting your computer with a baseball bat without your knowing wasn't a good idea...

In all seriousness, I hope you retrieve your writings. That'd suck horribley to lose that much!
