So I'm getting ready to take Chaucer to the vet for his booster shot and I'm listening to the raido and I hear that this guy left his five month old baby in the car for five hours. The baby died, of course. So what does the guy do? He says that it's car company's fault and that they should install an alarm to remind parents to take their kids out of the car.

And now a moment of silence for humanity.

I mean what ever happened to taking responsiblity for you actions? It was his fault that he forgot (which he shouldn't have) not the car companies. Geez I mean people have been remembering their kids in the car for years now without needing some stupid alarm.

Stupid.

Chaucer, as mentioned above, went to the vet today. He got his booster shot. Naselly, because apparenlty it's safer and more effective that way. He was told that he was a good boy and very fuzzy by several old women and the vet. When he gets neutered I'm going to have the chip put in him. Because you never know. I'd hate for him to be lost and never found.

And today while getting my lunch I showed my Litterary Nerdiness. I ended up talking lit stuff about fantasy, fantasy genres and things like that to this teacher. I think I may have overwhelmed her a bit. And I was having such a good time too.

How do you forget your child for 5 hours? Good God in gravy. Why are people so stupid?

I never leave Charlie in the car, ever. Too many bad things can happen. Plus, I'm not an idiot.
