Dear brain:

I'm glad you're feeling better and wanting to write and come up with all these marvelous story ideas. Finishing up (I think) those three chapters last night was awesome. But why do you have to go splattering around at a million times a minute with this unquenchable desire to write when I'm at WORK!? and then when I get home you immediately shut off and say "sleep now"? It's very frustrating wanting to go full tilt at writing when I can't and then when I finally have time to do it you've wandered off to stare at something shiny, like the cat's litter box.

Do you think we could work on this?

Kips.

My brain does that too.

I feel you there. I have the added bonus of my brain running though too many ideas of what to write on the projects I'm not currently trying to work on. So then I try going to where the ideas are. I have five minutes to get any idea onto paper before my brain says, "Well, we're here now, let's go someplace else!"
