Amusing bit from last night. AIM rping with a Spike from Buffy (he's about three years a vamp) and my rogue, Theo, who's a bit vampire crazy -in that he likes killing them- but he's not above using them as canon fodder which is why (beyond the fact that he doesn't belong to me) Theo hasn't tried to kill Spike.

At one point Spike wanted to know if Theo was trying to get into his pants. Which was hysterical to me, because Theo is one of my few straight characters. I have about three of them I think. Well, I know Trever is one. Can't think of any others off the top of my head right now. Greywolf is asexual. Huh.

Anyway, I thought it was funny. Theo did not. But Theo doesn't have much of a sense of humor in the first place.

It's started to rain. Which is the LA equivalent of it's started to snow. Yay!

Completely unrelated, but as this was your last post I can see: which LARP do you participate in? I know a few in the area (Dying Kingdoms and Live Effects, namely, especially the latter) so I've been curious but never got around to asking.

Dying Kingdoms is the one I've went to. And may go to again. Yes. Do you know the ones in the area, or go to the ones in the area?

I went to Live Effects once and was going to go to a few more in the area. Also went to RavenLARP at UCI before that went defunct. My car won't survive a trip up to Irvine or LA, anymore, though, so I need a job and a new car before I start going to them again, unfortunately. I quite like LARPs as long as there are some good roleplayers involved.

If you ever happen to be in San Diego on the night of the second Saturday of the month, there's RavenloftSD on the UCSD campus. It's not a boffer LARP, but has heavy emphasis on roleplay.

Random question... If I sent you my copy of The Gates of Dawn that common sense tell me I should burn... Would you dare to read it? It's probably just as bad as The Fifth Sorceress. I love your hate for that book. I feel insulted after reading it and it was so much fun to find someone who shares those feelings and can express it so well.
