Could someone internet/computer savvy help me with this?

I was posting a comment and I meant to put this: icon up.

I got this one:

But when I tried to show it to someone else they couldn't see it.

And then this icon vanished and my usual icon appeared.

Anyone know what happened?

Yeah that would be Eljay's doing. Sometimes they will do the occasional icon-swap (probably doesn't help since they've been doing all the site migration crap recently). Most of the time only you will be able to see the icon change, even if you link it to someone else.

Ah, I see the LJ fail!icons have struck again. Sometimes removing the icon by either replacing/adding it again helps. It's been popping up a lot lately from what I've seen, but if that doesn't work there's not much you can do.

That keeps happening to me too. I'll post using my spaz icon- which I'm gonna try to use here- and this little gremlin thing will pop up instead. I thought it was a Halloween thing that LJ thought would be funny but it hasn't gone away... *glares at it*

That's happened to me a couple of times. I'd heard that it went away by itself, but it lasted so long I ended up reuploading the offending icons, which seemed to shake the curse off.

I've seen other people refer to it as well. I think it's just one of those things that happens. :/
