I think this just might be me being anal retentive or something, but

IF IT'S NOT THE SAME EDITION THEN IT'S NOT THE SAME GODDAMN BOOK!!! THIS IS NOT SUCH A DIFFICULT CONCEPT PEOPLE!!! IF I WAS ASKING WHAT EDITIONS OF THIS BOOK WE HAVE THEN YOU COULD MENTION THAT WE HAD OTHER EDITIONS, BUT IF I AM ASKING WE HAVE A COPY OF THIS PARTICULAR BOOK THEN NO THE OTHER EDITIONS DO NOT MATTER!!

I got about three hours of sleep last night. Can you tell?

Saw Twilight. More on that later.

Eww, you actually saw that?

And I'm guessing you're after some essays or something that are in a specific edition? Once I had a bit of a fight through the school library's recall system over a specific edition of Crime and Punishment (which the other person was apparently too damn stupid to realize was available at the local library as well. Nooo, they had to have my copy).

I'm checking to see if we have certain books in our catalog to see if we want to add them and I get notes like "Have 1985 &85 but not this one" or "Have 5th and 7th edition" from student workers who have already gone over them to see if they're duplicates or not.

And I know the 1960 ed is going be a lot different than the 1896 ed.
