Wish me luck
Nov. 25th, 2003 04:48 pmI just spent today being productive.
I got together a submissions package to send to Image comics. Hopefully they'll like it. I'm very nervous about this. I'm going to send it out tomorrow when I go home.
I'm also going to make many pies tomorrow. So tomorrow shall be productive as well.
In any case, fingers and toes crossed.

Crossed fingers
Date: 2003-11-26 04:33 pm (UTC)Try making hot-cross buns... never mind, that has its origins in pagan rituals and human sacrifice.
Speaking of Irish pagans... If you're interested, here's my mom's mom's pumpkin pie recipe:
Bowl #1 Mix well:
5 eggs slightly beaten
29 oz can of pumpkin
Bowl #2 Mix well:
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 tsp salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon pumpkin spices
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon mace
Add spice mixture to pumpkin mixture, then add 26 oz of evaporated milk
Bake for 15 minutes at 425 degrees
Bake 45 more minutes at 350 degrees
Chill before serving.
