I'm cataloguing books again. It's either that or Microfich. Came across Global Agenda: Issued before the 58th General Assembly of the United Nations Exciting eh? Then I noticed this on the top of the cover: "New and improved 2003-2004 edition." And I'm thinking, exactly how do you new and improve a book? I've seen hundreds of revised editions and things like that, but never new and improved. That's something that you would find on laundry detergent. Not a book. New and improved Lord of the Rings with 50% more hawtt elves!! *snorts* Makes me wonder what's new and improved... the ink? The paper? The type face? Now with 37% more bolded words? Dunno.

Less cheery note:

My kitten died. Well it wasn't my kitten yet, but it was the kitten I wanted. The little runt. Makes me start wondering, what if I could have taken her home with me and fed her and taken care of her? Would she have died then? I guess I'll never know.

Have the urge to chew on something... plasticy.

Played Star Wars last night. ^___^

Aydin got a talk from the Doc about how using the Dark Side was Bad and will eventually destroy me before my time. He got on my nerves and I threatened to shoot him point blank. Didn't though. Aydin's not a cold blooded killer. He only does it in self defense. Meanwhile Markus had a heart to heart with the dark Jedi, Tor. They came to an "understanding". The upside of this being that Tor was allowed to walk free among us in our ship when we on a Secret Jedi Mission (ie. picking up crystals for their lightsabers). I proved my worth by being the only one able to astrogate us to planet for said Secret Jedi Mission. I was an ass about it though. I refused to do it for them. Tor came down and opened up my cabin door and yanked me off my feet demanding that I astrogate them. I told him to fuck off. He threatened to throw me out the air lock. I told him to fuck off. Eventually they "convinced" me to astrogate them to their destination. Minus money. They did their damn Jedi Mind Trick on me.

When we got there, I was going to go with the two Jedi because there was no way I was staying with Tor. They mind tricked me again. This time to go into town and get the news of what's happening. I was about to go off when Tor comes down and says basically "Aren't the Jedi a bunch of hypocrite bastards. They say I can't effect people's minds because it's wrong but they go a head and do it themselves." I go, "FUCK!"

Hullo! Laughed very much at the new and improved book thing. "Now with 35% more words!"

Still liking your Jewish girl story. Did I tell you about the book "The Ladies Axillery"? It's about an Orthodox Jewish community in Memphis. I forget who wrote it. It was pretty good. You may find it interesting.

Sorry about your friend in the coma. That is very hard. My grandmother committed suicide when I was 15, so I can somewhat sympathise with you. At any rate, I think you did well to go, and I'm impressed you admit how hard it is to do so. Many people would want people to think that they are so wonderful they can handle unpleasant things without blinking. Know what I mean?

Sorry about your kitten, too.

Have a good weekend, nonetheless!
