I wonder if people in Brittan wonder where Saxon went? Since they remember voting for him but nothing after the point where Saxon/the Master takes over. He'd been around for eighteen months before the Doctor shows up. After all that's how the Valiant was made and that's still around.

Considering they seem to have brushed off the planets being moved back and forth across the galaxy, spaceships crashing into Big Ben, the atmosphere trying to choke them all to death, and a massive invasion of Cybermen, I think Whoniverse Britons are just dumb. Either that or massively unobservant.

Rubbish. They're just remarkably resilient and... stuff. I mean, come on, in continuity this is the same Britain which has been invaded by at least a dozen alien species in the past fifty years. If they weren't used to it by now, there'd be something /wrong/.

No, after the time rewind, they remembered everything up to the President's assassination. And the Master's death took place AFTER the rewind, so they know that his crazy wife shot him.
