Um. I'm Kippur.
I'm Kippur on plurk and deviant art as well. Because I AM SO ORIGINAL IN MY NAMING.
The name Kippur is from my parakeet that I had when I was younger (1996) called Yom Kippur. We got him two days before the holiday and he was blue and white. Around that time we got internet in the house and needed to set up emails so instead of using my name I decided that I wanted to be "Kippur" after the parakeet. I've developed a bit of a parakeet theme in my online life since then.
What do I do with my life?
I am famous on the internet (okay small famous) for critiquing Eragon and a succession of bad books chapter by chapter by chapter. These include: Eldest, Brisingr, Touching Spirit Bear, the DaVinci Code,the Fifth Sorceress (a book that managed to somehow be worse than Eragon.)Danse Macabra (an Anita Blake novel) and Twilight. I am planning on starting up Inheritance any day now. I tried to do Maximum Ride but my life decided to take a downward spiral and I couldn't finish it. It didn't help that the book had ABSOLUTELY NO SOUL WHATSOEVER. At least Eragon has a soul.

I have Asperger's Syndrome which makes life interesting and frustrating at the same time and I'm bi-polar but I have meds for that.
For work I have been working as a library technician of sorts for ten years but that's currently up in the air. Yeah. Idiot bosses are idiotic.
I have a Master's in English Literature. Have given papers at San Diego Comic Con and World Con.
I have a floofy cat named Chaucer.
I like roleplaying games. Tabletop and online. I don't do video games at all. The last one I played was King's Quest Seven. DO I DATE MYSELF?
