kippurbirdWell I did something lovely to my thumb yesterday. I was at the kennels and had to open the gate to take the dogs out to the run when WHAM!! The metal latch slammed down on my thumb smashing it, right on the finger nail. So now under my thumbnail is the most painful bruise that kinda looks like Central America.
Over being sick. Went on a twelve mile bike ride yesterday with my dad.
Another Momism. My mother has a Poo-poo head teacher. He can't teach and has verbally harrassed my mother several times in class, in front of the other students. He's a complete and utter moron and doesn't seem to know what he's teaching. What he does know is that he has Tenure. In any case I said that maybe he needs some sort of tranquilier to calm him down, he apparently gets over excited sometimes in class. My mom said no, what he needs is a better sex life.
... I don't know why my mom thinks this. But she does. She frightens me sometimes. I told her I was going to put that in my LJ and she started laughing hysterically. I think she liked the idea.
It's very hot today. Like we skipped spring and jumped directly into summer. I want to go play in the sprinklers. But there aren't any around.
Fergison, my fish, is getting to big for his bowl. The next size up is a fish tank with filter and everything for 81 dollars. And I'm thinking do I want to spend eighty one bucks on a gold fish bowl? But my mom is right. It is getting rather small for him.
If only he'd stop growing.
He's four years old now. And still growing.

I don't know what to do.
I have set a dead line for myself. By the end of this week, my paper shall be done. Let us see how well I hold to it.
Going to go check up on the laundry now.

From your description, this professor reminds me in some ways of someone I know who isn't a moron -- in fact he's very intelligent -- but who nonetheless desperately needs to get laid, but is being all Orthodox and is apparently waiting until he's married.
