Dear Erika

I know that you're very happy about having your new baby etc. However I wish that you NEVER AGAIN tell me that you're going to be in the next room pumping breast milk. -_-

No Love,

Kippur

Next time, make mooing and other bovine sounds?

Would you rather have walked in on her pumping breast milk?

My thoughts exactly.

Ditto. And, seriously, lactating is just a natural bodily function for a new mother.

I once walked into the bathroom where a coworker was pumping her milk. She was using was one of the big mechanical machines and I was cringing watching the way the damn thing used suction to squeeze her boobs. Lactating may be natural, but that machine was disturbing!

This is true. It reminds me of a comment made by my aunt when something about milking machines used in dairy farming was on TV "That strikes a bit close to home"

Still, if the baby's not around, it's a choice between that or "leaking" ...

True. All though my sister in law swore that the pump by hand contraption was much more comfortable then the battery or electric operated ones.
