Icon Pairing Meme

kippurbirdMake a list of all the characters in your icons. (Although you may have more than one icon of a single character, they only go on the list once.) Alphabetize it. Take the first two people on the list; that's your first pairing. Second two people; second pairing. Etc. Then write your reaction to each pairing (or a snippet of a hypothetical fic featuring each pairing)
Noah Bennett (Heroes) & the Doctor (Dr. Who)
Mr. Bennett looked at the strange bouncy man who had walked into the copy store. He seemed to be taking an inordinate amount of interest in the pens that they sold. Finally he came up to the counter,"Hello there," he said in a British accent. "I was wondering if you could help me find the Company."
Eragon (Eragon) & Feanor (the Simarillion)
Eagerly Eragon picked up the shimmering jewel that he had found. For a moment it felt like it was burning his hand, but then stopped. It glowed with more power than Eragon had ever felt in his life. Perhaps this would help him destroy Galbatorix, if only he could figure out how to harness the power.
From the shadows a figure, an elf, stepped out. His gray eyes narrowed, his lips twisted in anger. Even still he was beautiful beyond compare, making even Arya seem like a common scullery maid. "Who are you to touch my Simaril? Who are you to think that you can use it?"
Qui-Gon Jinn (Star Wars: Episode one) & Sea Gulls (Finding Nemo)
Rather surprised, Qui-gon found himself with a sea gull perched on his head, peering down at his lunch. "Mine?" the sea gull seemed to say.
Kippur (me) & Obi-Wan Kenobi (Star Wars) >.>
Moonlight streamed through the window illuminating the bed in a silver glow. It seemed to have struggled to get there, through the lights of Corescaunt. Obi-Wan gently stroked the hair of the woman asleep on his chest. Here, the war seemed so far away. Here everything seemed at peace. Perhaps the Corillian Jedi were right and that love wasn't a terrible thing that lead to the Dark Side.
Donald Morton (Mozart and the Whale) & Matt Parkman (Heroes)
The call Parkman had gotten was most unusual. A man appeared to be having a fit in a store... with a cockatoo on his shoulder. Going in, he saw the man moaning and rocking. And he could feel the man's anxiety. It's all right he sent. Every thing's going to be okay.
Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean) & Ted Sprague (Heroes)
"And so you can do that exploding thing whenever?" Sparrow asked looking at Ted rather cock-eyed (which was normal for him).
"Yes."
"Useful that. Want to join my crew? Save me a fortune on gunpowder..."
Mohinder Suresh (Heroes) & Alec Troven (Alternates)
Carefully Mohinder touched Alec's ear, running his finger light up to the point, watching as Alec shivered. Amazing he thought. This was the first physical adaptation he had seen. He rubbed the ear, taking in every moan and sigh that Alec made, his other hand drifting down to grasp the other by the hip and pull him closer. To observe... of course.

"You! You!" Shrieked Nugan. "You have no right! Do you have any idea who I am?!"
"Yes, I do. Do you have any idea who I am?"

Date: 2007-10-12 08:46 pm (UTC)Mozart and the Whale is a movie based on Jerry Newport's life when he met his wife. Donald is the character based on him. Jerry is an Aspie who does the convention circuit and has written several books.
Alec is my own original character (no wonder you didn't recognize him) Alternates is what I'm tenitively calling my series of novels based in his world.
