kippurbird | Pig Herding.

Yesterday was very eventful.

I had a test in Vet Tech kennel duty. Fortunately I remembered it and was able to get a scantron. But while that's intersting that wasn't the most interesting bit of the day.

I went up to the goat and pig barns to see the triplets. Three kids were born on Friday. The Doe wasn't supposed to be pregnent, so the caretakers were rather surprised to the babies. They're all adorable. I got to hold one. And got my picture taken with it. I hope to scan it in and put it up somewhere.

While I was up at the pig and goat barn how ever I ended up helping to herd a five hundred odd pound pig. See the keepers wanted to put her back into her regular pen from her sun pen. She didn't want to go. She kept on walking up and down the walkway between the two pens. So we tried all sorts of things to get her to go inside the regular pen. She refused.

There's nothing like having a five hundred odd pound pig come waddling at you at a trot to make you want to wonder why you're holding a flimsy piece of wood to block her when it would probably just be easier to get out of the way.

We got her back in, eventually. Though there was much running. In fear and in general.

Violin class and D&D was tame and dull afterwards.
