Dear Supermarkets.

Why do you put out matzah every time there is a Jewish Holiday? We only have matzah once a year, during Passover. There is no need for you to put out Matzah any other time of the year. It's superfluous. And sort of silly. Better you should put out more holiday specific foods, like pomegranates or honey for Rosh Hashana. It would have been nice to be able to find a pomegranate today. Or a round challah. I know this would require you to actually do some customer based research, but I think it would be all for the good. You would get more Jewish Customers buying such things which, of course, would mean more money. And more money is always a good thing.

Kips.

Ohh hey that means I have to go to my aunt's house. That means services with canters droning soon. And having to wear a skirt. Oh well, round challah.

And of course they can't do research. It would require they put forth effort and contact shipping and food companies for the right food. A business nightmare, of course.

At least you won't have a service where the Rabbi talks about getting in touch with ourselves. =D

Eeep. well I kind of *cough* don't listen anyway I'm prone to being evil and smuggling books in that I hide within what I'm actually supposed to be looking at.... And I get rants about understanding yourself, and others a lot, anyway :D I just happen to choose to go and listen to the people who spout it.

Have fun with getting in touch with yourself/your spirit bear

My local grocery store has a mountain of pomegranates in the fruit n' veggies section. It's like the Mt. Doom of fruit.

Because I almost knocked them all down the other day while trying to get to the kiwis and mangos. I need to stay away from stuff like that. It's a Candid Camera moment waiting to happen.

Don't you know that businessmen are dumb? For example, all the stores here put out heavy wool coats starting in September. In Texas. Where "omg it's so cold!" means that it's 50 degrees.

Happy belated Rosh HaShana btw.

Speaking of Jewishness, here's a comic you might find amusing: Shaloman, the Jewish Super Man! He beats people up in the name of shalom!

Found your journal through [livejournal.com profile] metaquotes and am amusing myself reading your commentary on Da Vinci Code. Wanted to point out here that my (Christian) mother buys matzah with regularity, because she likes the taste. If this is common enough... *shrugs* But yeah.

First off. Love your icon. =D

Second there's no real accounting for people's tastes. XD

And third, welcome!

I'd go hijack the icon-maker's version for autistic people, but I've never been officially diagnosed. And hi! :)
