kippurbird: (What goes on in Kippur's head)

You know, so many people keep on asking me to read their stuff and give it a critical look over, I wonder if I should start charging.
Just an idea.

Good News Bad News

Bad News: Spirit Bear has been received by the Library.

Good News: Our server is down, so I can't check it out.

Other news: Thinking about writing how Mercedes Lackey writes her books.

Edit: Apparently they were able to check it out. Spirit Bear tonight!

Wooo! It's time to touch our Spirit Bears!

And do that many people ask you to read your stuff? Wow. Someone must be the popular Internet bunny.

When I review people on FF.Net I almost always get "Can you look at my story" and yes, a good lot of people have asked me to look at their stuff.

So, I figure, why not get paid for it?

Spirit Bear tonight!

Wait what? What! Sweet zombie Jesus, isn't this book over? It seems like it's ended two or three times already.

No. It's not. It's ALMOST over (even if nothing's happened yet) but no, it's not over. You just got a break while I was on vacation.

More Spirit Bear? *glee* That sounds so lovely. I've been waiting for more of that train wreck. Also I'd love to read what you've got to say about Lackey, especially since she seems to be a bit like a 'gateway drug' (if you will) when it comes to more adult fantasy novels.

I like Lackey a lot, I don't know if she's a gateway drug (but then again I got my start in fantasy novels with McCaffery), but she does some things that I've noticed in her writing that I feel the desire to talk about.

I'll be interested to see what you have to say about her. I adored her when I was younger, though as I got older I started noticing things that bugged me about her writing. I still enjoy her books, but I'm more likely to wait for them to show up in used book stores now than to buy them new.
