kippurbird: (*_* SHINY!)
I want this.

Heh. Discworld cake.
kippurbird: (sleep? What sleep?)
Some people, when they have brain spew it's just a few short paragraphs of nothing. Me? I ended up writing nineteen pages of story. See, I forgot to take my meds on Saturday night and ended up tossing and thinking about a story idea based on an Role play that I did. Not being able to sleep I said, screw it, flipped open my lap top and started to write. That was around four in the morning. By six that night I had thirteen pages done. I had to stop because of Yom Kippur. As soon as it was over I pounded out another six pages to end up at nineteen pages of pure crack fic.

It is called Serentitel and it is a Sue fic. But it's not a normal Sue fic. See, the role play that it was based on involved Nicholas Sayre from the Abhorsen trilogy by Garth Nix and a much older version of Alec, who goes by Alexander. Alexander and Nick had fallen in love through some complicated circumstances and were living together in Alexander's house that was somewhere else. The Sue, Serentitel, had snuck into the house and stole something of vital importance before returning to the Old Kingdom. In the Role play, Alexander and Nick managed to retrive the item with only a fair amount of difficulty. This story is about what happened if the Sue had won.

It's very odd. But shows you that perhaps my medications are a good thing after all. Or that if I really want to get some writing done I should forgo my meds all together.
