I'm back from Comic-Con. It was GOOOOOD. I got lots of shinies. One I wasn't even supposed to get. It was a shiny Lego C3-PO that they were only giving out to the kidlets, but I told the booth volunteer that I had been a fan since I was eight (Which is true) and still collecting so she gave me one on the sly. I have also found my new I WANTZ IT but will never gets it. It's the Millennium Falcon , the largest Lego set ever made at three feet long and fits the Lego figures. It's also five hundred dollars.

Anyone want to get me that when it comes out? >.> Come on? Please? I'll love you forever!

Ahaha... back to reality.

I bounced around booths and saw Neil Gaiman speak. If anyone has 70 million they have laying around, they can ship it to Terry Gilliam so that he can make Good Omens.

I was very good and didn't buy another lightsaber, buy a sword, buy a cloak or anything like that. And I only bought one set of dice. A very shiny set of dice and not the eighty dollar set of dice.

I bought my brother a stuffed parakeet to go with his stuffed cat. All I need is a stuffed goldfish and he'll have stuffed versions of all our pets.

Unfortunately I didn't get to go all three days. I got sick today and had to drive back before getting to go back in. *blargh* [livejournal.com profile] dergerm was awesome about this though.

I'm not too upset because my pass was free and it wasn't "GARrRRGH I paid for this day and I'm not getting my money's worth."

Speaking of which, the Con was completely sold out. You couldn't do walk ins on Saturday. It was insane.

So, to sum it all up. I'm good. I had a great time. And every thing's happy.

I was there too! Hah. We probably completely missed each other. Oh well, perhaps another time.

Gaiman? You saw Gaiman? *eeeeenvy*

I am torn on wanting a Good Omens movie. On one hand, Good Omens. On the other hand, there's a lot of narration that wouldn't work in a movie, like the bit about what happens to the third kid. On the first hand, Depp as Crowley=yes, please. On the second, Depp as Crowley=fangirls like woah.

Terry Gilliam is doing it. I have in my mind his voice narrating the scene where Baby A, Baby B, and Baby destroyer of worlds... are getting moved around.
