Several people now have asked me, "Why did I streak my hair green?" besides my mother. They all seem to be looking for some sort of response of rebellion, holiday or something or another. They seemed a bit perturbed when I say, "I was bored and had nothing better to do." or "It seemed like a good idea at the time."

Apparently there are deep philosophical meanings in hair streaking that no one told me about.

Another thing, Boss Man seems to think that I have a longer attention span than I actually do. Or at least as good as an attention span that he does. Which is a lot longer than what I have. He also seems to be functioning under the assumption that everyone works at the same rate and that he can figure out how long it takes to do something by asking just one person to keep track of it.

Personally, I can only work on one or two books at a time before my attention wanders off and I have to do something else. Being here for five hours also taxes my attention span greatly and the fact that I'm constantly interrupted by people asking questions or having to answer the phone also decreases my ability to process books. Especially by the people who seem to be unable to look up books in the catalog. It's not that difficult people! Just type in the title or author in the computer catalog!

Other wise, I'm wondering what else I could add to my desk beyond my miniatures.

I think they were more surprised that you chose green as the dye of choice and were trying to discern the answer to that. Because it's an atypical color to pick when dying hair (outside of us people who see too much anime and now think every color of the rainbow is perfectly acceptable for hair.) XD

*shrugs* Well, most people go with the classic route, using variations of black, red, brown, and yellow. And then there's the unconventional peoples who go with the pretty purples, pinks, greens, and/or blues, and they stand out. I guess. XD

Just don't commit any crimes. You'll be easier to recognize. ;D
