More Library Dribal

kippurbirdI'm checking books to make sure they are catalouged correctly. Occasionally I'll stop and take a look at one of them.
I found several today that were very interesting. One was called I am Jewish which is a book of statements by Jews stating what it means to them to be Jewish based on one of the final statements of Daniel Pearl, the Reporter who was captured and killed.
This was interesting because one of the UJ Students was in the book, Gershom Sizomu. He's from Uganda, Africa and is part of a tribe of Jews who became Jewish in 1919 when their leader read the Old Testement and said, basically, hey this makes sense.
Then there was a book called California Jews and gazing through the pictures I found a photo of this one spot at Brandis Bardine institute that was exactly where I sat at one point during the summer and painted that view exactly. *gets weird vibes*
Finally I was looking at Life of Josephus which is a translation of the life of Josephous and accidently I fliped to the Index and I found the following listing:
Jesus of Gamala
Jesis Son of Sapphias
Jesus' group
Jesus the Galilean (possibly)
Jesus, Bandit Chief
Jesus, realtive (brother/brother in law?) of Justus'
And looking at these names I started to wonder... what if, when they captured Jesus they thought or insinuated that he was the Bandit Chief and not some innocent rabbi.
Just a thought.
