It's amazing how many bodies I've accumulated by killing people in a good way. =D I'm going to need a whole new closet.

But thank you. This is what I come up with while trying to avoid working.

If you're short on body-storage, it might be more economical at this point to just dig a large ditch in your backyard. ;)

Yes, well, skeletons in the backyard doesn't have the same ring to it as skeletons in the closet. However you may be right. And it would be good fertilizer!

Indeed it would! Decomposing organic matter is always good to give your lawn that extra green shine. XD

And seeing as our lawn is mostly brown scrub (we really don't take care of it) it certainly could use the pick me up.

Sweet! I especially love the second (although in my mind, Paris Hilton doesn't even have "pretty" going for her)

Yes, well general culture considers her "pretty" and it could also be considered another insult to Saphira. She thinks that she's pretty, but she really isn't.

Icon twins! :D

Oh gawd, the Paolini one cracked me up. I'll be shouting that at my friends the whole of tomorrow.

Oh nice, nice. So very cool, so very true!

Speaking of Paolini, here's something I've just noticed (and am currently debating elsewhere):

WHY, apart from Paolini forcing the plot, does Murtagh only get his dragon in Eldest? There's no indication that a candidate must reach a certain level of experience or knowledge to be chosen, and if Galby had any brains at all then Murtagh should have been one of the first he presented to the eggs. So... why?

Not that I expect an answer, it's just another example of Paolini's bad writing. Maybe he should have spent MORE time plotting it out. All those weeks don't seem to have helped.

There is no reason for Murtagh not to have his dragon, except for plot reasons. It's more dramatic this way to have the new rider to be *GASP* Murtagh! OMGAWD I Thought he was DED! Logically, of course, Galby should have had Murtagh touch one of the remaining eggs when he first invited him to join his side. But that kills the big reveal in book two.

In the rewrite that I and [livejournal.com profile] canadianevil are doing, we've adressed that issue and are giving Murtagh his dragon before the book even starts.

Ha ha ha! Speaking of Paolini, I discovered a writer who is more silly than him when it comes to preaching about how "stupid" religious people are: P. D. James. I wasted my money on Children of Men because I heard it was good.

Close to the end, the protagonist is sitting in the woods and sees a cute little bunny. Then a fox or wolf or something comes along and kills and eats it. James goes into a rant about this is PROOF that God doesn't exist, because what kind of God would allow cute bunnies to die? Omg, angst, angst, blah blah blah! It was bad enough that she made the non-atheist characters look stupid, and then she did the bunny thing. O_O

James fails biology with Paolini. Maybe they can take Biology for Dummies together and learn something. Things must die because of the energy cycle, which is the scientists' way of restating the spiritual saying: death begets life. One can't exist without the other.

It's scary how much Pao-Pao reminds me of one of my classmates...who wrote a book about his self-insert...well, it was based loosely off of Star-Trek, but still, the similarities are eerie.
