Somebody stole my pencil at work. This is a very bad thing. Now I can't doodle and there seems to be a shortage of pencils here. You wouldn't think so because this is a library in a university.

I must hunt down a pencil and destroy who ever took mine.

Related: I hate using the phone. Utterly despise it. It scares the willies out of me. And I have to call up someone to learn how to use this particular system to bind the periodicals.

I have been putting this off for several days now, but I'm not sure how much longer I can do it.

Unrelated: I love google documents. I can write things at work and then write things at home and continue to write them without having to save and email and save and email them. It's fantastic. I've been writing smut on it. And my proposal for the Eragon book... of which I still don't have a title for.

I hate it when people steal my pencils! There should be some sort of law against it. >(

There should! I should start up a group for: People against Pencil Purloining. Or PAPP.

Carry a tiny pencil (already used or else mechanical, they do make some smaller varieties) in your pocket! I had been doing that. But the mechanical ran out of lead (and I've been lazy about refilling it) and the normal, sharpened one I've somehow lost (I suspect I took it out of my jeans and my kitty has knocked it somewhere on the floor amongst my... er, filing system.) XD

Well, it's an academic-ish book, right? So your title needs to be long and have big words. Something like "Inheritance: a critical exegesis on the socio-cultural impact of Christopher Paolini's magnum opus." Or something.
