I had a dream the other night that

canadianevil got into the Norton Anthology of English Literature and I had to read it for class. I was very excited about IMing her about this achievement.

Today started out as one of those days that you really should just give up and go back to bed, because that's the safest thing to do.

dergerm and I went apartment hunting. We had to be at this one place by eight, which meant getting up a six thirty. :( The apartment was fantastic. It was huge! room for an art area and living area and dining area, plus plenty of closet space and bathroom space and bedroom space. The manager showing it to us was more interested in the couple who was also looking at it at the same time as us. I had to ask six times for an application. And he was very... not into us.

The second place that we looked at was all hallway. No, really. It looked like it was leading down a hallway to this big open area, but my cubicle space is bigger than the functional living space in the living area. It was set at the strangest angle so that you couldn't have a couch, and a tv and a dinning room table in the same place. And the second bathroom was smaller than my desk at work. (At least the walk in space.)

So abandoning the apartment hunt we decided to go to IHOP for pancakes. But IHOP was closed due to kitchen malfunctions. :( So we went to Cocos instead. Not as good as IHOP, but still, decent.

Then I went to work and they're having a concert which means that all the good parking places were reserved for the concert goers and I had to park in the topmost lot.

However, things may be looking up. We're going to go look at this other apartment in the afternoon, and I got a package from Dell. Perhaps it is my new AC cord!
