It looks like I'll be able to finish Eragon within the week. YAY! I haven't decided yet if I'm going to do Eldest. I probably will, but I'm going to wait until after I've had a decent break. The books has effected my writing. As in I haven't been doing any since I started this. Which is bad. Very bad.

To celebrate the End of Eragon, I'm going to write a short bit where Eragon and Saphira meet Alec and Verra. I thought it would be fitting that Paolini's Stu and dragon were to meet my Stu and dragon. Alec is very up for this. He's been wanting to smack some sense ... or just smack Eragon for a while now. He's been very vocally upset about having to share head space with him.

Yes. I have a little Eragon in my head now. I hate him. He's a whiny little bitch. But he won't go away. *sighs* Well, I'll think of something to get rid of him. I'm sure. I hope.

Excellent! *rubs her hands* Ma'am, i assure you that you have no need to fear. I am a trained and certified professional from the PPC. (Well, actually, it's sort of an on-the-job training. We're majorly understaffed, so it's all a bit touch-and-go. But I still know what I'm doing! Cross my heart!)

*Gathers together some aroma therapy candles, a pile of old hardbound books, and, for some reason, an eggbeater. Proceeds to place the candles in a circle and light them one-by-one, then ushers you into the center.* Have a seat, Ma'am, and do try to relax.

Wow you've been a brave trouper to get through "Eragon" like that. I must also thank you dearly for this, as I now know the events of the story without having to read all of it (I started it, and wanted to gouge out my eyeballs).

And one other thing: I think we've all written a Stu/Sue at some point in our long lives of writing. ALL EXCEPT ME NOPE NEVAR NOT EVAR!
