Good news, I bought a new computer. It's in the mail. God only knows when it'll get here but hopefully soon. It's a dell laptop. It is shiny and pretty and will hopefully work. And work well. It will be named Larry. Just like this one. And the one before that. It shall be Larry the third.
Bad news, my dad's getting laid off. Well more like getting early retirement. He's old enough that he can retire. He just wasn't thinking about retireing so soon. Another couple of years from now. But he's retiring around September. Which means I need to be out before then. I don't think I could stand being at home with my dad being home. It would just drive us crazy.
I started in new D&D group. We're using the true twenty system in the Eberon world. It's more maliable than the D&D system. The group is really electic. They're all geeks. Two married couples me and another guy. One of the couples has a eight month old daughter named Lorien. Yes like Loth Lorien. The other couple (of which is the DM) has three kids, two of which are "playing". They're playing Warforged, which are like Golems but intelligent but are basically killing machines, so they only have to come around durning battles and smash things. I'm playing an alternate of Alec. They have this nifty feat called wild talent that allows you to use a certian kind of magic (Shaping... healing... stuff like that) but when you get stressed and you fail a save your powers go off. So I have access to elemental shaping powers, which is what is with Alec. And when he gets stressed they go off. Like getting badgered by a bunch of people while he's trying to figure out how to open a locked door caused the inside of the room to explode in fire when he accidently caused an inferno.
Alec is amused at this, but he's having a good time.
