kippurbirdI was washing dishes today and my mom and I had a philosphical discusion about the question of "Is the glass half empty or half full" This question, as most people know is designed to see how people look at life. Optomistic or pessamistic, and theoretically there is not right answer. BUT! This is not true! There is a right answer.
Say you start with a glass
that is empty.
If you fill the glass with liquid all the way to the top.
And then remove half the water,
The glass is half empty, because the glass had started full before you removed all the water.
BUT!
If you start with a glass
that is empty.
And then fill the glass half way, and not any more, then the glass is half full, because you didn't finish putting water into the glass.
SO! Therefore the question of if a glass is half empty or half full is perfectly answerable, if you know know these things.
Wasn't that intersting?
I think so.
In other news, I get to paint on the walls. Or at least one wall. My mom is redoing the kitchen and that means pushing out one of the walls. She said that because the current wall is going to be destroyed, I can paint on it. ^___^ I thinkthis is so fun. I've been doodling on it as I sit here.
