kippurbirdHah. So I'm still alive. It's been a week though. I've been in a weird mental place since finishing the thesis draft. Like in Limbo or something. I'm gearing up though for the next stage. I'm getting over being sick as well. I had a lovely fever and fun stuff over Thanksgiving Weekend. Just getting really over it. Though I'm still hacking up gunk. Yay.
A friend of my brother's commited suicide. That really shook my mom up. It did my brother some real shaking too, but I'm not certain he's quite understanding why suicide is so bad. What it really means. I think he gets the Friend = dead, but not the friend = decided life was no longer worth living so killed himself. It's kinda hard to think about.
Poof. Gone.
We don't even know why he did it. Or how. It's disconcerting.
