kippurbirdChaucer's turning out to be quite the klepto. I'm beginning to think I should have named him Autolycles. He stole my glasses off my nightstand last night. I spent fifteen minutes, blind, this morning trying to find them. Mind you this was before I realized that it'd be easier if I put in my contacts. Definately not a thinking moment.
In the news recently, there was a rotwieller attack on a 16 month old baby. The baby died and the dog is most likely going to be put down. The thing is, the dog was just being a dog. See, what happened was the mother of the child was holding her as she put the dog's food down. The dog most likely took the baby as a threat to her food and well... everyone knows you don't come between a dog and its food. The dog was just protecting its food from a threat. Unfortunately, yes, the baby died, but it's not really the dog's fault.
It was just being a dog.
The mother should have known better. But of course, the blame will be laid on the dog and his breed. Not really much that can be done about that.
Other news:
An eleven year old girl gets six month probation for throwing a rock at a boy who was throwing rocks and water balloons at her.
Do I even have to go into the stupidity of this? I mean really? Kids throw things at each other. Lord knows I did it to my brother all the time. It's something kids do. It's not criminal or anything. It's just something that the do.
