Passover Seders went okay. My dad really pulls the definition of "In plain sight" to a rather extreme degree when hiding the afikomen, making it rather difficult to find. Underneath a book is not in plain sight. Yes we didn't need to move anything to see it, but it was still hiding underneath something. I got a book out of it though, Take a Thief by Mercedes Lackey. I bought Hogfather and a Green Lantern novel. I finished the first two books in two days.

I got twenty five out of twenty five on a paper for my Subjects in Veternairy technology class. The thing about this was I came into class and noticed there were some papers on the teacher's desk. I asked someone if there was a homework due, and they said yes. We had a test that day too, so I finished up the test as quickly as possible and dashed down to the computer lab. Within fifteen minutes I typed up about a page and a half of stuff and handed it in at the end of class. Then the day she handed them back she read from a few of them. Mine was one of them. She said, on the paper, that I had made some excellent points and my stories (we had to give examples of the human animal bond in our life) were well and emotionally told. I so rock.

Take A Thief (which I confess is the only Mercedes Lackey I've read) was pretty good. Cool. ^_^

Neat about the animal-human bond paper. Yay cats!

I rather liked take a thief as well. I've read several of her books and they're not bad, I have some qualms with how she plays out the plots. She generaly waits until the last fourth of the book to put in the climax and the resolution seems to be a bit rushed.

^_^ Yay kitties indeed!
