So the Autism thing is going to be on

Saturday, Feb. 18 at 7:00 pm on NBC

or the local equivelent there after. It's called

Autism: The Hidden Epidemic

Sounds awfully mysterious, doesn't it?

What I'm wondering about is the title, they call Autism an Epidemic, which I think is plain wrong. An epidemic sounds like it's catchable and spreading throught out the known populace like a disease. But Autism isn't like that. You can't Catch Autism, like you can catch, HIV. It's more like down syndrome in that effect.

The reason why people say that it is an epidemic is because more cases have been reported in the recent years. I think it's because they've gotten better tools to diagnose Autism. An analogy for this would be when they discovered the single cell organism in the microscope. We didn't suddenly have a rash of single cell organisms popping up, we just had the tools to see them better.

Am I off my mark in my thinking? Or what? Any thoughts on this?

Moving on, Kips has some

First off, someone is supposed to die. The question is, whom? Who kicks the bucket, gets mauled by the polar bear, eaten by the monster, shot by the crazy woman?

At first I thought maybe Hurly. Why? Because we know NOTHING about him. Nada. Zip, zilch. Zero. Ex-parrotness! We haven't had his background, why was he on the plane episode yet. It would make sense that they off him. No viewer identification. But theyn, that's probably why they're going to keep him. It would make sense for them to kill him.

Charlie has the hobbit following, so he's safe.

Jack, was supposed to bite it in the first episode, so perhaps he does in the last? That would be interesting if it worked like that. He was the leader of sorts and with out him, they wouldn't have a doctor either.

Jin, Like Hurly is sort of on the not really doing anything side. But then again he's getting fish. He's a provider. And it would be more interesting if Sun bit it, because then he wouldn't have his wife and he'd be all alone with no way to communicate. That would be intersting.

Then I started to think about the plane crash. Maybe Walt did it, by accident. He can make things happen, so what if he didn't want to go back to America with his dad and he wanted the plane to crash, and going by the island made his 'powers' stronger so he made the plane crash? That'd be interesting I think.

My meds put me to sleep almost all day today. That was intersting. I'm glad I didn't have to drive because then I'd probably have gotten into a car accident. After last night, that's the last thing we need.
