I haven't really been posting much of anything, have I?

Now this one we were given "measurements" of height X Width X Depth (like noted on drawing) and had to divide the large cube (which you can't see because I used non-photo blue pencil) into the smaller cubes of those dimensions.

Cubes with waterfall.

This one we were supposed to add cubes around until we got fifteen cubes. I think I went a bit above and beyond the call of cube duty by those two cubes on their sides up on the top left, the cube with the hole in it on the bottom left and those cubes on the top right where the waterfall is coming out. We started doing things like that in class yesterday. I should have put in a darker background maybe so that you could see the waterfall better.

For some reason this reminds me of Frank Lloyd Wright's stuff. *shrug*

And finally my free sketch. I realized far too late that the background is too dark. I've been trying to work on not outlining everything. I'm not sure if I did so good with that. I know real life doesn't have outlines, but...

I like the above and beyond pic ^_^ Did he tell you how to shade things on the top one, because our lady never did. If you shaded those on your own, +2 points.

She did not. Well not really. She said "pick a light source" and shade from there.

I've had art classes before so I have a vague idea of what to do, though shading is not really a strong point of mine. I always get the shadows mixed up.
