My desire to be a productive and working member of your staff has now hit - ∞. I don't know if that's possible, but it has been done.

He shunted me to the afternoon shift and tried to reduce my hours to twenty. He said "I'd like you to work twenty hours a week but if you'd like to, you can work twenty three."

And can he do that? Because then wouldn't the extra three be overtime?

Sorry, I'll be on the afternoon shift when we're done moving into the new space.

The three hours won't be overtime because on my job description it says that I work twenty three hours.

I'm officially supposed to work 23 hours. He wants me to work 20 hours. But he has to offer me the choice to work twenty three. He just made it sound like he was doing me a HUGE favor to let me work twenty three hours.
