Today's book of irony: How we elect our president published in 1968 by Reader's digest. :D

Other things.

One of the things that have been bothering me about the sequencing of my novel series is why are the Fey involved? What can they gain by blowing up Pentarch? And then I remembered that they were trying to inhibit any sort of technological growth that involved iron. The wizards would be the most likely to be working with iron for their magics. After all iron is a good metal to work things with for weapons and building and other stuff. Which the fey would not want at all.

So, they introduce Alec who is from the future and falls in love with Lorac who is from Pentarch. Alec forms an empathic bond with Lorac which when he leaves snaps and makes his mind go all googly. The Fey slip in and offer a way to reunite him with Alec, he takes it and then... boom. The wizard's magic and technology is set back greatly and the Fey are happy. Yay!

I wonder if I should change the title of the book though...

I don't get it. What's ironic about "How we elect our president"?

Just the timing and things. That's all. I found it funny.

It had places where you could keep track of the electoral votes.
